Great Wolf LodgeGreat Wolf Lodge has a 48-hour sale going on now until 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2011. This sale is for returning guests to the Great Wolf Lodge.

Head to their website to book your stay online. The site allows you to select your dates and room type. You can then enter the promotional code (R48hour) to see your savings immediately.

Warning! If you are not a returning guest, do not use this code. According to a Great Wolf representative, your account is not verified when you book online, but when you get to the resort, they will make sure you have a past stay history. If you do not have one, your rate will be adjusted to the best available rate at the time you check in–mostly likely a higher rate.

I’m not 100% certain, but I do believe there is a 48-hour sale for new guests that starts tomorrow (October 6). I will verify tomorrow and update this post. UPDATE: Just got an email for the 48-Hour Sale for all guests–click here to see it. This code is H48Hour, but the pricing doesn’t appear to be as good as the code for returning guests. They are rewarding return customers. See below to learn the price difference.

I did a little research and discovered that I could save $40 per night using the promotional code R48hour. I chose a standard Double Queen Suite for two nights: November 4-6. Before the discount, the room is priced at $169.99 per night, and after the discount it dropped to $129.99 per night. UPDATE: using the code for new guests (H48Hour), I can get the same room for $139.99.

The savings are good for stays through December 4, 2011 (you need to be checking out on December 4).

Returning Customers: use code R48hour
New Customers: use code H48Hour

Thanks for the tip, Leslie!

  2. Not such a great deal — you are getting a discount of about $30 per night on a regular room, but the price of the Wolf Den Suite (the room my daughters like) was higher with the code than without it when I checked for Thanksgiving weekend. Big disappointment.

  4. Sorry to hear the deal didn’t work for your family. Did you try calling the Great Wolf Lodge and mentioning that the price went up with the code? That sounds like a computer glitch to me. I understand not discounting the rate on a holiday, but to increase it sounds like an error?
