There’s still time to get a round of golf in before we have to deal with that four-letter word. . . SNOW!

Argue-Ment Golf Course offers a 9-hole course at an affordable price. They are located between Belleville and New Glarus–at the edge of Wisconsin’s glacial driftless area. I haven’t been to the course yet, but I hear it’s very nice and the pictures on the website are beautiful!

Here’s a description of the course taken from their website:

In laying out this course we tried to translate the feeling of a Scottish highlands community course to Wisconsin dairy country: we used the lay of the land and its vegetation as the primary challenge. Our course is not the typical American park-style course. We follow a more European vision of minimal irrigation, naturalized “waste areas,” and small greens with lots of movement…less is more. The course changes with the seasonal rains, forcing the golfer to adapt. Visitors from Scotland have told us, “It feels like home.”

The best part (in my opinion) is the pricing! Kids 12 and under golf for free with a paying adult. They also offer lots of specials–there’s sure to be one that works for you!

They offer a $20 Wednesday Family Day: two adults (can include grandparents) and their dependent children golf for $20–this deal does not include a cart.

Take a look at their website for a complete list of specials.

Thanks for the tip Julie!
