Discounted Tickets to MCM’s “Kids Rock!” Event on Feb 4

MCM Kids RockToday’s Deal from Madison.com is $6 for a ticket to “Kids Rock!” The Madison Children’s Museum is hosting their fourth annual family fundraiser on Saturday, February 4 from 1 to 4 p.m. at High Noon Saloon.

If you purchase your “Kids Rock!” tickets from the MCM, it will cost $12 per person, $40 for a family four-pack, and $6 for Access members (must present current MCM Family Access membership card). If you are an Access member, this deal doesn’t save you any money; however, if you’re not, you will save 50%. This deal closes at 11:59 p.m. tonight.

Local favorite Ken Lonnquist and the Kenland band will perform. The kids will have an opportunity to take center stage and perform “Rockstar Kiddyoke” with The Gomers! Those who want to participate will need to select their song prior to the party–click here to see the Gomeroke song list.

Also included are arts and crafts, face painting, snacks, and a strolling magician!

Today’s giveaway for the 24 Days of Holiday Giveaways is Two Tickets to the Madison Children’s Museum’s Kids Rock!

Join the Madison Children’s Museum for their fourth annual family fundraiser: Kids Rock! on Saturday, February 4, 2012 from 1 to 4 p.m. at High Noon Saloon.

Local favorite Ken Lonnquist and the Kenland band will perform. Also playing is Rooftop Ramblers featuring several MCM staffers. Following their sets, kids will have an opportunity to take center stage and perform “Rockstar Kiddyoke” with The Gomers!

This is an opportunity to perform karaoke with a live band! Kids will need to select their song prior to the party–click here to see the Gomeroke song list.

Also included are arts and crafts, face painting, and snacks. A strolling magician will make his way through, so be sure to catch him!

Gustafer YellowgoldWho is yellow, cone-headed, and from the sun? GustaferYellowgold , of course! Take the entire family to see “Gustafer Yellowgold’s Infinity Sock” at the High Noon Saloon at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 26, 2011. Tickets are $10 and children under two years old get in free.

Groovy Gustafer Yellowgold is a small, yellow, cone-headed fellow, who came to Earth from the Sun and has a knack for finding himself neck-deep in absurd situations as he explores his new life in the Minnesota woods. Equal parts pop rock concert and animated storybook, Gustafer Yellowgold concerts are a truly different multimedia experience that entrances children and adults alike.

Gustafer Yellowgold’s Infinity Sock follows our hero as he embarks upon an hilarious, mind-bending musical journey in search of the toe-end of the longest sock in the universe.

High Noon Saloon is celebrating its 6th Annual Kid’s Day on Saturday, January 22, 2011. Join David Landau for an afternoon of storytelling and original children’s music.

David Landau taught first grade in Verona for 11 years prior to becoming a children’s entertainer. He has a passion for storytelling and children’s music and now travels to elementary schools, preschools, and libraries to deliver educational messages through entertainment.

High Noon Saloon will have a 12 & 2 p.m. show on Saturday. Bring your entire family for a fun afternoon of music! Please note there is a $5 cover charge.
