There’s a new, local deal site from Hometown Hot Deals! Hometown Hot Deals offers discounted gift cards for Wisconsin businesses. The gift cards will be between 50-75% off the regular price.

This week’s deals are particular favorites of mine: Beans ‘N Cream and Musical Pathways.

Get an $8 gift card to Beans ‘N Cream for $4. This deal is available until 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, 2011. You can order up to 3 cards. Beans ‘N Cream is my favorite coffeehouse! You can find it in Sun Prairie at 345 Cannery Square. They offer fabulous coffee, tea, and Sassy Cow ice cream. The breakfast and lunch menu is made from local ingredients and much of it is organic. My favorite menu item is the breakfast burrito: “Egg, cheddar cheese, and organic bacon on flour tortilla with zesty chipotle mayo.” The employees are wonderful and always cheerful!

The second deal is for Kindermusik by Musical Pathways Foundation. Unfortunately, for me, this deal is for new students only. Get a $69 gift card for just $34–as with the previous deal, you have until 11:59 p.m. on June 1, 2011 to purchase this deal. This gift card is good to use on a summer mini-session. The classes are split into age-appropriate sessions and include the following:

  • Sign and Sing classes (Newborn to age 2.5)
  • Busy Days (Newborn to age 2)
  • Creatures at the Ocean (Ages 2 to 3.5)
  • Tell Me A Tale (Ages 5 to 7)
  • Violin Camp (Ages 6+)
  • Piano Camp (Ages 6 to 8 )
  • Piano/Voice/Violin Sampler Lessons (Ages 7 to adult)

I absolutely love Musical Pathways and have had my kids in their program for over 5 years. I’ve tried other programs and nothing compares to Musical Pathways. This is a great way to check out the program and see what you think.

I am thrilled to see two of my favorite local businesses featured in this week’s Hometown Hot Deals! Stay tuned for next week’s deals!
