US Bank EveRing in the New Year with your entire family at U.S. Bank Eve community celebration on Saturday, December 31, 2012.

Discounted tickets may be purchased at any of the 10 U.S. Bank locations in Madison. Tickets may also be purchased at the door, but you will pay a bit more.

Tickets are good for any of the six site locations and admission is dependent on available space at each location.

Adults:
Advance tickets: $5.00
At the door: $7.00

Children:
Under 5 are FREE
Ages 5-15: $3.00 (advance tickets) and $5.00 (at the door)

Family Pass (2 adult tickets and 1 ticket for up to 3 children ages 5 and up in the family–children under 5 are free):

Highlights: Learn to Salsa 6-8 p.m., temporary tattoos, raffle, cookie decorating from 5-7 p.m.(while supplies last), inflatables, and lots more!

Monona Terrace is the place to be for the Handmade Madison Indie Craft Marketplace. This year’s event is Saturday, December 15th from 8 am to 4 pm.

Handmade Madison gives people the chance for artists to showcase their works and a chance for people to buy them!  More than 2 dozen craftspeople will be on hand.  Everything from jewelry to ceramics to bath products and paper goods, too.

Winter Art Festival Nov. 10 – 11

It’s time again for the Winter Art Festival!  This year’s event takes place at Monona Terrace on November 10 and 11, 2012 and the hours are 9:00 to 5:00 on Saturday and 10:00 to 4:00 on Sunday.

More than 140 exhibitors will be on hand with all sorts of art:

  • pottery
  • paintings
  • fiber
  • glass art
  • wood
  • photography
  • jewelry
  • graphics
  • sculpture
  • and more!

The Art Festival also features a Silent Auction on Saturday with proceeds to benefit the Youth Scholarship Fund.

Children under twelve get a chance to purchase artwork in the Young Collector’s Corner.  And a Kids’ Corner offers children the opportunity to create small artworks.

Musical entertainment ranges from Celtic to New Orleans blues to classical with special performances by advanced piano students of area piano teachers.

Fourth Annual Wisconsin Original Cheese Festival Nov. 9 – 10

Celebrate Wisconsin’s dairy artisans and original cheeses with the Fourth Annual Wisconsin Cheese Originals Festival.  This year’s event takes place November 9 – 10 at Monona Terrace.

You’ll get a chance to meet cheesemakers through a variety of events, including creamery and farm tours,cheesemaker dinnerseducational and tasting seminars, and the popularMeet the Cheesemaker Gala.

The Annual Wisconsin Cheese Originals Festival is hosted by Wisconsin Cheese Originals, a member-based organization dedicated to celebrating Wisconsin artisan cheeses and cheesemakers.
