“Think Local First” Giveaway from Dane Buy Local Members
This Saturday is “Small Business Saturday.” It’s a day to celebrate and shop your local small businesses.
Here in Dane County, our buy local initiative, Dane Buy Local, encourages consumers to buy local during the entire holiday season, and throughout the year.
Dane Buy Local has a “Think Local First” promotion going on. Now through December 31, 2011, enter for your chance to win prizes at 80 participating businesses. More than $6,000 in merchant prizes will be given away.
Here’s How it Works
Every time you visit one of the 80 merchants, you can enter for your chance to win a gift certificate or merchandise. No purchase is necessary to enter.
Winners will be drawn at each location on January 2, 2012. The grand prize winner will be drawn at Dane Buy Local on January 10, 2012.
The grand prize winner will win:
- An overnight stay for two at The Madison Concourse Hotel Governor’s Club
- Two tickets to see the Peking Acrobats at the Overture Center
- Massages for two at Bergamot Massage
- $50 gift certificate to the Mariner’s Inn
